*Considering that the donor must undergo relevant examinations, medical treatment and other measures during the donation process, the undergoing surgery couple may, within the amount or price determined by the competent authority, entrust an artificial reproduction institution to provide nutritional fees or nutritional products to the donor, or bear the necessary costs inspection, medical treatment, lost working time and transportation expenses.

2. Donors’ legal rights and interests
(1) In accordance with Article 13 of the Artificial Reproduction Act, medical institutions should provide the donor’s race, color, and blood type information for the recipient couple’s reference. Other donor personal information will not be provided.
(2) According to Article 19 of the Artificial Reproduction Law, the donor may not request the return of reproductive cells after donation. However, if a donor is diagnosed or proven by a doctor to have reproductive dysfunction after donation, he or she may request the return of undestructed germ cells.
(3) There is no legal relationship between the reproductive cell donor and the artificially reproduced child in accordance with the provisions of the Artificial Reproduction Law, and there will be no situation where the artificially reproduced child requires the donor to be forcibly claimed.

1. According to the Artificial Reproduction Law, sperm and egg donation is a free donation. Before donation, the artificial reproduction agency must explain the relevant risks, rights and obligations to the donor, so that the donor can obtain sufficient information before making a decision on whether to donate, and obtain their understanding and written consent. Germ cell donors must meet the following conditions: men over 20 years old but under 50 years old; women over 20 years old but under 40 years old, who are suitable for donation after a health examination; have never donated or have donated but have not given birth alive and have not been stored. As long as the donation has had a live birth, it cannot be donated again, rather than an unlimited donation.
2. Nutritional expenses for sperm and egg donation are subject to the announcement of the upper limit of the donor's expenses that the recipient couple can bear. The recipient couple may entrust an artificial reproduction institution to provide nutritional expenses to the donor, or bear the necessary examination, medical treatment, and loss of working hours. The amount of transportation expenses and transportation expenses shall not exceed NT$8,000 for completing the sperm donation process, and NT$99,000 for completing the egg donation process. However, the egg donation process involves the risk of using ovulation injections and drugs, egg retrieval surgery, and anesthesia.
