Menopause

Menopause usually occurs in women between the ages of 45 and 55. Due to insufficient secretion of female hormones during menopause, symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, and vaginal dryness are common. Some silent diseases may also occur, such as bone disease. Cardiovascular diseases such as apoptosis and coronary arteriosclerosis endanger your health.

*How menopausal women can retain their beauty in their later years of life, the health care tips are as follows:

‧Balanced diet:
Cook with less oil and less salt; choose low-sugar, low-fat, low-cholesterol and high-fiber and calcium foods.

‧Regular exercise:
Exercise can lower blood cholesterol levels, increase calcium storage in bones and improve physical fitness (exercise recommendations are shown in Table 1).

‧Develop interests and learn stress reduction skills:
Accept the onset of menopause with optimism. If the symptoms of menopause cause discomfort, you can seek medical treatment.

‧Regular health check-up:
Also remember to have a Pap smear every year and a breast self-examination every month.

Ask your obstetrician and gynecologist about the use of female hormone supplements to avoid bone loss, heart disease risks and aging.
